This is an extremely scarce metal fixed link B.S.A. made 25 round belt to take the 15mm BESA heavy machine gun round. It is complete and un-damaged. The 7.92 version of the BESA machine gun was used extensively in armoured fighting vehicles throughout WW2 and a larger, heavier - at 57 kg (125 lb) - 15 mm version, also belt-fed, was developed by BSA from the Czechoslovak ZB vz.60 heavy machine-gun as vehicle armament. It could be fired in semi-automatic mode as well as fully automatic. It was used on the Light Tank Mk VIC and on armoured cars such as the Humber Armoured Car Mark III. We have put an inert round in the belt for demostration purposes. ( available separately if required) This is a rare complete linked HMG belt. The only markings on it are the BSA stamp ( illustrated) on the starter tab / carry handle. The price includes UK delivery. (Sn 7769 )
