This M16 replica steel helmet is identical to an original. It has been refurbished to represent the Landes-polizeigruppe from around 1936. These were the state police under General Goering with the later style police insignia with the large mobile swastika on the right and the angled national shield on the left with the light green parade finish to the shell. The shell has been aged and minor dents applied. The liner is a typical WW1 type with the inner pads fitted and the M17 steel liner band. The chinstrap is leather and again the type used in WW1.
