This is a very early model with out stretched wings of the eagle on the cross guard. It's made by Alcoso and has the Alcoso name and logo on the blade. About 65% of the gold gilt remains on the Loin's head and guard. No detail lost on eagle/swastica or engraving on the lion and guard. Red eyes still nice in Lion's head. Black grip perfect with perfect condition wire wrappings. Original paint on scabbard with usual minor scraps/chips in paint. Scabbard does not have any dings/dents/or bends. Blade I would rate about a 5 1/2 as it shows age with again dark spots. Grip tight on sword, no movement of play. Very nice display of a rare early type!
