ORIGINAL BRITISH WWII MINE CLEARANCE MARKER.
Description
The mine marker is made from a galvanised wire frame with a hinge on the top.
It is a white cloth pyramid sewn in such a way that the marker can be folded flat for storage or opened out in use.
When a mine was found, the mine was covered with these small folding mine markers .The white colour of the marker helped the clearance team quickly identify where they were.
