This new title from JJ Fedorowicz Publishing details the heavy tank battalion 508 as it saw combat in Italy with the Tiger I. This unit history was composed by actual surviving members of the unit. Divided into sections-headquaters company, maintenance company, and the three tank companies, this book contains the memories of those who were with the battalion when it formed thru combat in Italy and finally Germany. The text is enhanced with all the photographs from the original German edition, plus approximately 100 more from a variety of sources from around the world. In addition, this volume has 10 pages of color artwork by the internationally know military vehicle artist, Jean Restayn.
