For one detonator only.
This is one original detonator that fits on the top of the German S-Mine, also known as the “Bouncing Betty”. These detonators are dated 1939 or 1941 and we just got this directly from Normandy during our visit.
The S-mine was used extensively by the Germans in WW11 and they produced over 1.93 million. These mines where capable of inflicting many casualties as the design was lethal. Designed to be used in open areas these mines would launch in the air and then detonate .9 meters high which would send a lethal spray of shrapnel in all directions.
