Description
A Luftwaffe Glider Pilot Badge by RUDOLF SOUVAL has a silvered tombac oak leaf wreath with majority of the original silver-wash still remaining and Luftwaffe style patinated eagle.
It has a vertical needle style pin with a barrel hinge and a flat wire catch.
Maker marked BY L/58 – RUDOLF SOUVAL, WIEN.
Overall excellent condition.
The Glider Pilot’s Badge (Segelflugzeugführerabzeichen) was a German military decoration that was awarded during World War II to military pilots who were members of the German Air Force after they completed their glider training.
