Description

This is an original German WW2 Infantry Assault Badge – SILVER. Unmarked.  Die stamped, hollow backed, alloy construction badge features an embossed, vertically oval, oak-leaf wreath with a Wehrmacht style eagle with down-swept wings, superimposed to the top center, encompassing a cut-out rifle with a fixed bayonet and a sling. Nice nickel silver plate. The reverse is a mirror image of the obverse

This is a one of a kind item and you will receive the exact one photographed.

The Silver Assault Badge was Instituted on 20th December 1939
