Description

The Germans call this boot “Marschstiefel”, meaning “marching boot”.

This was the classic boot used by the German Infantry in WW2 and the German Stormtroopers in World War I.

Worn out boots were considered a major problem for armies on the march so high quality leather jackboots became popular with the Germanic armies in the mid to late 19th century because of their perceived durability over “lesser” boots.

They are made from high quality leather soles with hob nails, heel irons and toe taps.
