This is a very nice original 2nd Infantry Division white back patch. The patch is in nice condition,
Also known as the “Indian Head” the 2nd Divisions motto is “Second to None”.
Formed in 1917 the 2nd Infanrty Division fought during WW2 in Normandy landing in St. Laurent on D-Day plus 2. They continued to fight battles in Northern France, Rhineland, Ardennes/Alsace and Central Europe.
This division were also involved in combat during the WWI, Korean War, Iraq and Afghanistan.
