ORIGINAL WWII CZECHOSLOVAKIAN VZ 24 MAUSER RIFLE BAYONET WITH SCABBARD

Description

The bayonet has CSZ with H underneath on the ricasso.  The steel scabbard is also marked with CSZ E3 EAGLE  37 on the frog stud.

Condition of the bayonet and scabbard is in nearly unissued condition

After the collapse of Czechoslovakia in 1938 to the Germans, the Czech Arms Industry was converted to produce weapons for German Troops. This included the Czech VZ 24 Mauser Rifle, which was re-designated VZ24(t), as in German the word Czechoslovakia starts with a “t”.

The VZ24t bayonets produced under German occupation were made without the muzzle ring.
