GERMAN STIMPANZER HELMET SHIELD BROW PLATE – REPRODUCTION
Description
The ventilation lugs on each side of the WW1 German steel helmets were used to support this optional steel helmet shield, the (Stirnpanzer) which also attached around the back of the helmet with a leather strap. Not popular with regular troops due to the weight. They were used mainly by snipers. Not many of these brow plates were originally produced. Comes with leather strap and buckle.
Weight is 2.5 kg.
