Description
This nice quality multi-piece construction armband features a black cotton Swastika mounted on a white cotton disc which in turn is stitched to the cotton twill fabric of the armband itself. Bordered top and bottom by a further two rings of black cotton material.
The only difference between the SA and SS arm band is the top and bottom black border stripes denoting the wearer as a member of the SS. In April 1925 the fledgling SS introduced its own version of the standard NSDAP swastika armband by the addition of the black stripes to both the top and bottom edge to differentiate SS personal from SA
