GERMAN FELT FOR M38 AND M31 LINERS REPRODUCTION
Description
This strip of felt is stitched on the reverse side of the leather liner along the top edge. The width of the strip is 35 mm, the thickness is about 1.5-2 mm and the length is 65 cm .
The felt was used on both the standard M31 helmet liners in the M35, M40 and M42 German WW2 helmets along with the M38 paratrooper helmet liners.
